The Central Luzon 51.50K Ultramarathon 2014

The inaugural gun start of the 1st Central Luzon Ultramarathon 2014 was held at SCTEX La Paz Exit on the 8th of November 2014 around 5:00 in the morning. Only four (4) runners made it in the start line, all males. The lone international (British National) in the person of Mr David White participated the race. Before the gun start, the Captain Ariel Cortez of the Philippine Army, the race director briefed the runners and led them in a prayer. He emphasized the integrity of every runners, it was an integrity run, no cash prizes for the top finishers. He encouraged all runners to finish the race with integrity or else declare themselves (Did Not Finished) DNF than to cheat.

The route was supervised by mobile marshals in order to secure the safety of every runner. The ultimate goal of the race director was to saw all runners in the finish line complete and strong.
